We are looking for a Process Engineer who enjoys being challenged within their field and share our passion for working in Pharma and Life Science.

You will be working on the client’s side, supporting them in the development and implementation of renovation/new construction of production facilities – mainly on projects in the Pharma and Life Science sectors. The position involves almost all aspects of the project and all its phases. The tasks will be very diverse and varied, ranging from specification and documentation to implementation, supervision, and testing.
The Pharma and Life Science division at Artelia consists of over 100 employees spread across nine departments. We have offices in Holbæk and Buddinge, where you can work from. You will be part of the department: “Process & Mechanical – Pharma”, where you will have 19 competent colleagues who are looking forward to welcoming another colleague to collaborate with. You will have ample opportunity to contribute to shaping the development of the department, where we make a significant effort to foster a strong team spirit in a busy work environment. To ensure the quality of our work, we regularly meet as a team to discuss and share knowledge. Additionally, we prioritize staying updated within our field through courses, visiting relevant trade fairs, and, most importantly, through specific focus days at Artelia.

You profile
- You have a background in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry and Biotechnology Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a process engineering role.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager/Package Owner is an advantage.
- You have experience in biopharmaceutical production (e.g., upstream or downstream etc.).
- Experience with equipment in biopharmaceutical production.
- You have a good understanding of GMP requirements.
- You thrive in an interdisciplinary project environment.
- You have good communication skills and can communicate effectively in both Danish and English.
- You can develop and articulate complex topics and results in a report or presentation.
- You must have a valid driver’s license.
Your main tasks
- Establish customer contact and relationships.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) lead for process equipment package.
- Continuously monitor the customer’s process and production needs.
- Specify and design process equipment.
- Responsable for dokumentation.
- Provide advice to customers on process and process equipment optimization.
- Manage small, medium, and large projects (review design, planning, and implementation)
- Renovation of process equipment.
- Participation in and execution of FAT and SAT tests.
- Analysis of systems (line walk, process measurement, etc.)
- Customer support/training during process startup.
