Job Summary
Tetra Pak Filtration Solutions with offices in Aarhus, Denmark and in Champlin, Minnesota, USA, is the group competence centre for membrane filtration.
Tetra Pak Filtration Solutions is searching for an Application Technologist for Membrane Filtration of Milk and Whey Products. You will be part of our Centre of Expertise, Denmark, and will be working within the area of dairy product and ingredient applications based on membrane technology. Development projects will be executed together with customers and business partners as well as internally in Tetra Pak.
Requested traveling days: up to 30 days/year (globally).
The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.
What you will do
- Planning, execution, and documentation of technology and product development projects, as well as developing our global product portfolio, including testing of membranes and food applications
- Data collection and processing from systems in operation
- Development and testing of new membrane solutions in Milk & Whey to support the growth of the business
- Development and maintenance of in-house application documentation, design models, and data for calculation tools.
- Focus is value-adding end products and solutions
- Support Technical Sales and Commercial Project Teams, including issue resolution in cooperation with field service engineers and other stakeholders
We believe you have
- A degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or similar
- Knowledge of dairy processes and membrane filtration
- Interest in combining test, theory and industrial solutions
- Flair for process technology and can think outside the box
- Interest in independent practical research work in membrane technology in food production
- Ability to convert theory to practical solutions and vice versa
