Internal Control Lead Specialist

Join us in this role where you’ll be a part of a team responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of Ørsted internal control framework for financial and sustainability reporting to ensure a sound control culture and control environment.

You’ll be part of an Internal Control Assurance team where you, together with your colleagues, will be involved in the risk assessment, developing Ørsted internal control framework, implementing and enhancing our GRC tool, monitoring and testing of internal controls for financial and sustainability reporting.

As a team, we are multinational team, located in Copenhagen and Kuala Lumpur. Your work location will be in Copenhagen.

You’ll play an important role in:

• identifying risks within financial reporting processes and ensuring that mitigated controls are in place
• supporting and developing Ørsted internal control framework in close collaboration with the 1st LOD
• driving control improvements and addressing process deficiencies including route cause analysis
• testing controls and facilitating remediation of control deficiencies
• leading and directing activities within ServiceNow GRC: control performance, risk assessment, control testing, dashboards, etc.
• supporting the reporting to executive management and Audit & Risk Committee.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have degree in audit or finance and have a vast experience from audit firms combined with experience in the 2nd LOD function from a listed company
• have solid IFRS knowledge
• have SAP knowledge
• are a team player with considerable stakeholder management and analytical skills
• have great communication skills
• are fluent in English.
