Core Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in and across product teams to secure delivery in collaboration with business Product Managers
  • Support Engineers with technical sparring and reviews
  • Formulate the technical road-map in collaboration with the Principal Engineer and business
  • Support and guide selection process of new products and solutions with the Payroll and Time product team
  • Explore new technologies and methods and participate in prototypes with the product team
  • Work with the Product Manager and Agile Coach to continuously improve Agile ways of working and collaboration within the Product Team

Play your part in our team succeeding
You will be part of a Payroll and Time product team with some experienced HR tech colleagues, and together with the team and business colleagues, you will be architecting, delivering and maintaining payroll services mainly built on Workday, SAP ERP and UKG WFM Pro.

A huge part is supporting and building the right architecture across the HR tech landscape, and also taking an active role in daily development is included.

The Digital organization consists of a number of Product Teams, each with a distinct ownership of portfolio products and services. Corporate Products Technology innovates, designs, builds and runs the IT products consumed by the Corporate Functions worldwide in LEGO.

We are working in an Agile setup in DevOps teams, and in close collaboration with other teams within Digital and business areas.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Significant experience in technical team leadership such as: (Technical architecture of systems and services to meet business needs / Mentoring of engineers to deepen their technical knowledge and adhere to technical standards / Translation of functional requirements to technical specifications)
  • Background in software development and integration
  • Ability to spar with Senior Engineers on their solutions and implementation
  • Experience contributing to software throughout the development lifecycle, from planning, through implementation and to release
  • Extensive experience collaborating with both business and digital partners
  • Would be nice to have domain knowledge of payroll, time and attendance
  • It will be a bonus to have experience with major HR Tech applications such as: (Workday experience, Workday Studio, Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI), Worker Effective Change Interface (WECI), Payroll Interface (PI), Core Connectors, XSLT and document transformations, Calculated Fields and RAAS, SAP ERP, UKG Workforce Central and WFM Pro)
  • Effective Budget management

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
