Java Developer for Pan-European Application Development

Euronext Securities has a central function in the financial sector in Europe and as part of Euronext, we must think about our solutions from an international perpective. We do this together with our colleagues across Norway, France, Portugal, Italy and Denmark - and we need more skilled developers to help us.

You support the business with both development and operational tasks. You code solutions for a complex business area where we are challenged by supporting a constantly evolving market and new regulations. It is important that you want to be part of the Scrum-inspired working environment with collaboration and sharing of knowledge and ideas. You consider responsibility and having technical ownership a natural part of your work.

Desired Profile

• You have a proven track record of developing Java-applications. We value skills and attitude higher than years of experience.
• Knowledge about scrum, Spring Boot, React, OpenShift and TDD is a great advantage.
• You don't need to have insight into the financial sector – we will show you.
• You thrive in an environment where freedom and autonomy go hand in hand with responsibility and accountability.
• You have strong analytical skills, just as you are quick to gain insight into new business areas.

The Position
Our decentralised systems are primarily based on Java and other supporting technologies – this is what this position is all about.

The position is based in Copenhagen or Porto, and we practice a “3 days a week in the office”-policy. You will be part of a team geographically distributed between Porto and Copenhagen. This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of several Java applications supporting our core systems. Currently we are developing a pan-European Java-application to support the business area called Issuer Services. We need a new colleague to help us build this and subsequently maintain it.

We are looking for a Java-developer who knows what it means to take technical ownership and to be part of a team.
