Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Tender Manager to help us securing work for the industry’s largest fleet of jack-up offshore wind installation vessels.
What will you do?
As our new Tender Manager, you will engage with clients during the tender process as the main point of contact. Further to this, you will engage with relevant subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate cost inputs to tenders. Furthermore, you will present and defend the proposed commercial package during tender approval meetings. You will also be responsible for the hand-over process to the project team once the contract is signed.
Your main tasks include:
- Ensuring that the tender lives up to the client’s requirements and ensuring that the process steps and gates outlined in the Cadeler Tender Process Manual are completed.
- Prepare and be accountable for the delivery of the tender package, including associated pricing, risk analysis, program, qualifications/deviations, and other documents.
- Ensuring that the tender process is on track
- Reporting of significant changes to the tender to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate and liaise with Contract Management and the Legal department in preparation for, and during contract negotiations
- Preparing for approvals of tenders and/ or contract agreements of the Executive Management
- Support the team with the development of new client relationships and markets globally.

We are looking for a structured profile, who has an analytical mindset and enjoys working with tight deadlines.
We think you will be a good match if you have:
- BSc degree (or higher) in engineering or commercial disciplines is advantageous
- Minimum of two years' relevant industry experience, including exposure to commercial topics.
- General knowledge about WTIV operations and vessel limitations is advantageous
- Contract negotiation experience.
- Competency in standard Microsoft IT Packages
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Proficiency in languages other than English is advantageous
