The Remote Data Analytics (RDA) team is seeking a new colleague, preferably with commissioning, troubleshooting, and hands-on experience with Siemens' wind turbines. Experience with other turbine brands might also be suitable. The team remotely monitors installed turbines and operates 24/7/365, addressing active alarms through a local online system combined with diagnostic tools. Their goal is to save technician hours and increase turbine availability.

You will be part of a team of 12 highly qualified and dedicated Remote Data Analysts, working in shifts with 1-2 other colleagues in an engaged monitoring room, some positions outside Denmark are worked from home or local SGRE office.

The position is in Brande Denmark.

How can you contribute to our vision?

  • Your job will be to diagnose and interpret remotely collected data from faulty turbines, formulating troubleshooting guides in English based on this data, which you will send to the service technicians who will troubleshoot the turbine.
  • You take pride in getting stopped turbines up and running as quickly and responsibly as possible – and keeping them running.
  • You will keep yourself and the team updated on all platforms through on-site visits and training as needed.
  • You will be part of a 6-week rotating shift consisting of: 5 weekdays (07:00 - 15:10), 5 weekday evenings (15:00 - 23:10), 5 weekday nights (23:00 - 07:10), 2 weekend days (07:00 - 19:10), and 2 weekend nights (19:00 - 07:10). You will then have the remaining 2 weeks and 5 weekdays off in the rotating shift. Occasional paid overtime can be expected.
  • We prefer that you have a background as a troubleshooting/commissioning technician with practical experience from Siemens wind turbines, but you are now looking for a career shift to an office environment.

How can you make a difference?

  • You have a mechanical and/or electrical education and preferably some years of practical experience.
  • You can formulate a tailored troubleshooting guide in English based on remotely collected data combined with your knowledge of Siemens wind turbines (WTC-3, SICS, geared and DD platforms).
  • You have experience with Office 365 and generally good IT understanding.
  • You are flexible, service-minded, and take pride in keeping systems and turbines operational. You thrive in a hectic and dynamic environment where you are proactive in your work.
  • It would be an advantage if you have experience with WPS, cRSP, and MORS (though not required).
  • As a person, you are analytical, detail- and result-oriented. You are passionate without compromising on quality. You have the ability to work independently and in a team, and you are motivated by routine tasks in front of a computer.
  • You are a skilled communicator and fluent in English, both verbally and in technical writing.

If you have acquired your skills in alternative ways, your application is also appreciated.

In return of your commitment we offer you…

  • Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come.
  • We are a global team of diverse colleagues who share a passion for renewable energy and have a culture of trust and empowerment to make our own ideas a reality.
  • We focus on personal and professional development to grow internally within our organization.
  • Siemens Gamesa offers a wide variety of benefits such as flexible working hours as well as home-office possibility for many colleagues, employer-funded pension, attractive remuneration package (fixed/variable) and local benefits such as subsided lunch, employee discounts and much more
