Job Purpose
We are looking for a talented and motivated accounting student worker, who is currently studying finance/finance related subjects or has experience within accounting.

By joining our company, you will help us achieve our mission of making cities more liveable again. In this role, you will be part of an experienced and growing team of international finance professionals and will gain hands-on experience in the finance and accounting operations of Donkey Republic. You will have an interesting mix of tasks and challenges for which you will carry a high degree of responsibility.

Not only will you work closely with the rest of the accounting team, giving you the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in flat hierarchies, but you will also exchange ideas and information with other departments so that you can gain cross-functional knowledge.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the month-end closing process
• Processing and booking of incoming invoices
• Participating in half-year and year-end audits
• Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations
• Participation in other ad-hoc process development projects as required

Qualifications:

• Studying for a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field
  
• Good accounting knowledge, finance knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, experience with ERP systems are a plus - we are currently using ‘Economics’
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Capability to work structured and independently
• High-quality standard in regards to own work and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
• Previous internship or work experiences within an accounting department are a plus
