We are looking for a German-speaking student to join our Commercial Asset Management Team at European Energy. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge from your studies to real projects, receive professional sparring, and help us accelerate the green transition.
The Team
The Asset Management department consists of 96 colleagues, based in Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, the UK, and Brazil. We are responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of power-producing assets, offering asset management services for both internal and externally owned assets.
We are looking for a German speaking Student Assistant to join our motivated Commercial Asset Management team. The team is taking the leading role in the commercial management of our renewable energy projects in Germany from the commencement of operations. One of the teams´ main goals is the optimization of the operating assets throughout their lifespan.
How you will create impact
As our new Student Assistant, in our German Commercial Management team you will:
- Be handling master data in excel
- Support with commercial and financial analysis
- Responsible for maintaining an overview of land-lease payments, landowners, wind-turbine data, etc.
- You prepare internal- and external reports as well as presentations in PowerPoint
- You will support the team by managing day-to-day activities, handling administrative tasks, and providing proactive assistance where needed.
- Collaborate closely with other departments within Asset Management
What we look for
We are looking for a student currently in their bachelor's program or pursuing a master's degree in engineering (Energy, Renewables, or similar) or a technical field. Moreover, we imagine that:
- You are passionate about renewable energy, especially wind and solar technology.
- Experienced with Data Analysis.
- You are familiar with the general Microsoft Office package, including Power BI.
- You have excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit.
- A curious mindset with a large appetite to constantly learn and grow.
- You are proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to create results.
- Have a positive and can-do attitude when faced with new challenges.
- You are proficient in English.
- Very IMPORTANT that you speak and read fluent German
