The team you will be part of
SteelSeries represents one of the divisions in GN and is a respected provider of premium software-enabled gaming gear. A global brand in headsets, keyboard, mice and other accessories for gamers, SteelSeries products are sold via distributors, retailers, and GN’s own webstores in 80+ countries across the world.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will be:
- Responsible for establishing credit terms for our customers. Define clear terms for credit sales, including payment due dates (e.g., net 30, net 60) and early payment discounts if applicable
- Oversee credit limit management. Set credit limits for customers based on their payment history and financial health to reduce the risk of defaults
- Manage the credit approval process. Design and implement a consistent process to assess new customers' creditworthiness (e.g., credit checks or financial statements)
- Serve as the escalation point and approver for order release from hold based on financial reasons – acting as middle point between AR-team, sales, order management & other stakeholders
- Responsible for monitoring AR aging with regular tracking of age of outstanding invoices (e.g., 30 days, 60 days, 90+ days) to identify overdue accounts early. Serve as the link between SDC AR team and business to ensure timely actions are taken to secure cash collection
- Set up regularly reviews of customer payment histories and adjust credit limits and payment terms accordingly. Identify which customers consistently pay late and consider revising their terms or credit limits
- Regularly review of AR Performance Metrics and report to BFO Gaming (AR aging, DSO, bad debt ratio, etc.)
- Responsible for reviewing and ongoing tracking of bad debt provision for Gaming division including documentation of all write-offs
To effectively fulfill the role, we imagine that you
- 5+ years of experience within a similar role
- Great analytical skills
- Desire to build a function/area from scratch
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Practical approach mentality
- Ability to balance between being customer-oriented and while remaining focused on cash collection
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
