About the role
We are looking for a new manager to lead a new team in Manufacturing IT (MIT). The MIT department supplies Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and IT infrastructure Engineering Services for customers within Pharmaceutical API production.
Our work is project based, and we support our customers in all project phases, from conceptual design through all engineering phases. Projects range from large greenfield projects to mid-sized revamps and digitalisation efforts. We support customers in Life Cycle Management of their systems, ensuring they stay updated with new technologies.

As a manager, your role will be vital in leading a team of engineers and collaborating across functions to ensure project success, competence development and strategic alignment to make Manufacturing IT (MIT) Fit for the Future. You will be responsible for coordinating and prioritising resources and tasks in the team to achieve ambitious goals while embracing an agile approach.
As a manager, you will drive process improvements related to implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across diverse pharma projects. You will also be responsible for aligning local processes with global standards, ensuring efficiency, compliance and effective collaboration with customers and stakeholders.

How you might spend your days
As Manager, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you’ll be:
- Provide visionary leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and coordinating with other departments for successful project execution.
- Responsible for managing 15-25 employees, specialising within implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Drive competence development in your department alongside the management team across Denmark and India.
- Managing stakeholder communication and collaboration with customer representatives.
- Actively participate in projects to stay updated on technical advancements and align with the NNE way of working.

The miles you’ve walked

- You have a degree in engineering within Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical production or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience with people management.
- You have minimum 5 years of experience in the pharma, biotech or life science industry, with a background in engineering projects.
- You are fluent in English.
