Senior Global Partnership & Network Strategy Manager

As we continue to expand our global reach, we are seeking a Senior Global Partnership & Network Strategy Manager to join our Global Distribution & Logistics team. The Role
As Senior Global Partnership & Network Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding our strategic partnerships across our global distribution network. You will ensure the seamless execution of network strategies that support Bavarian Nordic’s mission to deliver vaccines to those who need them most. This position calls for an individual with strong leadership skills, a collaborative approach, and the agility to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, purpose-driven organization.

The position can be based in Denmark, Germany, or Switzerland.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Relationship Management: Act as the primary interface for our global logistics partners, fostering long-term, collaborative relationships that align with Bavarian Nordic’s strategic objectives.Global Partner Selection & Governance: Identify and select strategic global partners, negotiate Master Service Agreements, and implement governance frameworks for performance excellence in collaboration with Global Procurement.
• Performance & Analytics: Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously optimize partner performance. Provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Distribution Network Strategy & Design: Develop and execute innovative network strategies to enhance scalability, efficiency, and resilience within our global distribution landscape.
• Global Policies & Compliance: Establish and maintain global distribution and logistics policies, ensuring alignment across all regions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Scalability & Cost Optimization: Identify and implement initiatives that enhance scalability and achieve cost efficiencies, without compromising quality or compliance.
• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional strategic projects from concept to execution, ensuring timelines and objectives are met in alignment with company goals.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (A Master’s degree is an advantage.)
• 7-10 years of experience managing strategic partnerships and executing network strategies on a global scale.
• Proven expertise in global logistics, supply chain optimization, and partner governance.
• Strong strategic, tactical, and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Agility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems..
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
