Investigations Analyst

About the role
We are looking to hire an Analyst, to join our Investigations team in London, reporting to the Team Lead of Reconciliation, Investigations & Treasury Operations division.

You will be an important colleague within wider Global Core Operations department, delivering against strict SLA’s and driving the continuous improvement agenda within the department. The role involves investigating non-STP payments, reason for reconciliation breaks, and automating payments to STP.

What you will be doing

• Root cause analysis on non-STP payments and reconciliation breaks
• Utilize SQL and Excel to extract and analyse data
• Leverage SQL to identify automation opportunities to increase the STP rate
• Continuous learning and development of payment routing and infrastructure
• Create and continuously improve processes
• Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders
• Project work and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have at least a 1 years’ experience from a similar role with a proven track record. You must have experience working with datasets, SQL & Excel. You are a problem solver, and you have a strong data-driven mindset. An understanding of payments will be seen as an advantage.

Your solid analytical skills enable you to easily comprehend complex issues and you clearly articulates goals and expectations, relating them to the business mission and direction. You are adaptable to change and can also drive continuous improvement agenda within the Global Core Operations department.

As a person, you are outgoing, energetic, confident, trustworthy, execution oriented, and a team player.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset.
