About the role
We are looking for an awesome Accountant to join the Accounting team! You will be responsible for our two Danish entities and the main point of contact for Danish accounting related matters. You will report to the Accounting Director for the Group. As an accountant at Instabee, you will make sure that we have correct accounting and effective processes. You will always strive to find improvements and ways of making our work more efficient and with increased quality.

Some of the things you will do

• Monthly financial reporting
• Responsible for monthly and annual accounts
• Provide financial data to the company in an expedient and accurate manner
• Bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements, statutory reporting including annual reports, income tax returns, and VAT.
• Inventory accounting
• Through financial control, ensuring the quality of accounting and reporting.
• Account reconciliation and transaction monitoring.
• Cooperate with colleagues, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Help colleagues and support accountants in your team
• Continue our improvement and digitalization work within Finance, as well as the development of Netsuite to optimize processes and routines

Your future team

You’ll be part of the Global Accounting team at Instabee, but also the wider Global Finance team with Business Controllers and Group Accountants. In total we are about 25+ people working with Finance across our different offices. We work closely across markets and encourage collaboration both within the team and with other teams and parts of the organisation. We strive to always improve and make our ways of working smarter, more efficient and with increased quality.
You will report to the Accounting Director for the Group who is placed in Stockholm.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone exceptional. Someone that preferably has experience from a fast-growing company and someone that loves working in a fast-moving environment. In addition to being self-sufficient, being loyal, and attentive, we are also looking for those who can easily get into complex questions and are not afraid of taking their own initiative.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have experience from a similar role where you have taken a large ownership for a wide range of financial matters in a business. You may have been an Accountant at a smaller firm or worked as part of a larger team at a medium sized business before joining us. Most importantly you are used to being the point of contact for employees and work with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

More about you

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
• 2-4+ years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Experience with financial reporting requirements

The cherry on top would be if you…

• Had experience in working in Netsuite is a plus
