Your role in our team
At Supply Chain & Quality Management (SCQM) we are looking for a driven and curious Strategic Purchaser. You will be part of an exciting journey with ample opportunity to put your own mark on Terma’s future, our SCQM organization, and your daily responsibilities.

With reference to the Director of Sourcing in SCQM, you are offered a unique opportunity to join our team on the journey towards Sourcing Excellence. You will be part of our sourcing team, working across multiple categories, together with colleagues from our Quality and Procurement department.

How you will make a meaningful contribution
As part of the direct sourcing team, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories. Your focus will be on supplier selection, initiatives towards resilience, and optimizing the supply base to support Terma’s strategic objectives. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Terma, facilitating requirements from our R&D and sales organization. Furthermore, you will support and drive category-specific KPIs and ensure we remain on target.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers
• Conducting supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, contracts, and agreements
• Analyzing market trends and risks to develop effective procurement strategies
• Working closely internal stakeholders, such as R&D, Sales and Product Management

Bring your world class expertise into play
You have a relevant educational background within Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Engineering and experience with the sourcing process. You are used to dealing with multiple stakeholders and know the value of developing supplier relationships. Furthermore, we expect the ideal candidate to possess the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Experience in negotiation and the sourcing process
• Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset
• Fluent in English (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
