Are you passionate about optimizing costs and challenging partners in a global company?

Bring your improvement mind-set, organizational flair and creative approach and join an experienced Software Asset Management team!

Core Responsibilities
We are growing our Software Asset Management (SAM) team. You are a commercially oriented and dedicated individual who can help us drive down the cost of our software assets, globally. You will be part of a well-established team leading the LEGO Group through a value-optimization of our software asset management practices for our colleagues and partners.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Identify and drive various opportunities for value optimization together with partners across functions and levels.
  • Enable value-based decision-making by providing accessible data analyses and reports and helping the product teams have a transparent view of their Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Ensure compliance and optimization of software contracts and perform internal review of software licenses.
  • Support and advice on procurement processes.
  • Engage in vendor related activities and negotiations together with Procurement.
  • Help the team perform license renewals, create POs and other operational SAM tasks.

Play your part in our team succeeding
You will join our Software Asset Management team which currently consists of seven colleagues and a Lead who sets direction and priorities. We work across various product teams in our Digital Platform and Infrastructure area as well as other global collaborators covering finance, procurement, software owners, digital security and other colleagues.

The atmosphere is informal and humorous, and we would love it if you could also make us laugh as well as teach us a few things.

Do you have what it takes?
You could bring your years of experience from a variety of backgrounds such as Procurement, Finance, Vendor management or Account Management. Competences we are looking for are:

  • A strong commercial approach and good English communication skills.
  • Either direct experience with Software Asset Management or the business operation side of digital technology.
  • Extensive experience with partner management on various levels and enjoy challenging the status quo while building relationships.
  • Experience initiating and running optimization initiatives across contracts, tooling, processes and people.
  • Experience with financial management such as forecasting and budgeting.
  • A passion to work in a data-driven manner including data analysis and reporting. You enjoy getting the details ‘just right’ in both MS Excel and other data tools.
  • The ability to impress collaborators with your presentations.
  • Project and change management knowledge is a definite plus.

As a person you have a strong improvement mentality and enjoy working with people. You can communicate pros and cons of various approaches in a sharp and fact-based way as well as influence and convince people when needed. Being part of a team and collaborative setting is something that energizes you.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team!
