Are you good at stakeholder management and to keep several balls in the air at the same time? Would you like to become part of a big network and learn more about the aviation industry and its regulations?
Then you might be the next Shipping Specialist at our warehouse, located in Kastrup, Denmark. Warehouse will be relocated to a new address in the greater Copenhagen area in the near future.
What the job is …
You will join a team of six shipping specialists and report to the shipping supervisors in a big global company and help it grow even more.
Your daily tasks will include communication with forwarders, sales departments, warehouse employees and our quality team is a part of your daily tasks.
You receive shipments from our warehouse and will book the shipments in a timely manner by nominating forwarders to our customers around the globe.
We are dealing with export controlled items, hazardous materials and tools in aviation.
All have specific procedures for packaging and shipping, where your expertise will be advantageous in order for us to run the operation smoothly and on time.
What do you offer?
Ideally, you have experience in shipping and transport and a relevant education in the same field.
You know the different policies and regulations and have worked with different forwarders/couriers in the past.
You feel comfortable to work in different IT platforms at the same time and you are good at giving instructions and explanations to other stakeholders.
You have experience in different freight solutions ( sea, rail, air and road ) and you know the best solution for different regions in different continents.

As this is a job with stakeholders located all over the world, excellent command of both written and spoken English and Danish is needed.
