Are you passionate about driving responsible and inclusive product design that prioritizes Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles?
Join our Design Governance team to lead the charge in integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into LEGO’s product design, crafting a sustainable future for play while collaborating with creative minds across the globe!
Core Responsibilities
- Provide consultation and facilitate subject matter authority consultations to provide guidance on ESG related to product
- Manage initiatives in product design to continuously improve The LEGO Group’s social and environmental impact (ESG)
- Manage aligned overview of, and data related to, ESG concepts and initiatives in product portfolio
- Assist collaborators across the LEGO group with ESG related tasks
- Support the design leadership team to advance our ESG agenda in product

You will be part of Design Governance, where we are responsible for guiding the evolution of LEGO design expression, and you will apply the lens of ESG.
You will play a pivotal role in guiding the LEGO design teams on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles
Mentor in product development, consult experts, manage design guidelines, and engage with collaborators.
Do you have what it takes?
- Preferred to have a BA or Masters or equivalent experience in a relevant field, could be design, cultural studies, sustainability, education etc
- Experience and passion within the field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
- Experience with design methodology, and potentially background in design
- Coaching skills to support design teams effectively.
- Basic project management understanding
- Excellent communication and team member management abilities.
- Global perspective on culture and ethics
- Diplomatic communication skills
- Passion and understanding for toy design
- Basic understanding of commercial industry
- Basic understanding and proficiency working with a data-driven approach.
- Child and consumer perspective
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys networking and cross-functional collaboration
