Your new role
As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining innovative, scalable solutions for BESS tie-in to our solar projects built on in-house technology. You will oversee the seamless execution of these projects across various markets, ensuring smooth transitions from design to implementation.

Your key day-to-day tasks will include

  • Regulatory Optimization: Explore and integrate regulatory standards to optimize system designs, ensuring compliance and performance.
  • Engineering Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering documentation or verification processes based on EPC architecture, maintaining high standards for project accuracy and quality.
  • Process Streamlining: Act as a business developer, optimizing and streamlining internal BESS processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Market Implementation: Ensure seamless implementation of BESS solutions across all markets, supporting smooth execution and adherence to timelines.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Project Managers and the Product Development team to drive the BESS development across all countries, and work alongside the procurement team to ensure project success.

We imagine you have the following competencies

  • 5+ years of experience in Medium Voltage design
  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
  • Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or a strong interest in the field
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Technical expertise and experience with solar projects is a plus
  • Fluency in English at a professional level is required
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

We seek a highly motivated, proactive, curious, and problem-solving personality, who thrives in working in a high-paced and multidisciplinary environment. It is crucial that you possess high coordinating capabilities and can manage stakeholder relations in the complex environment of the design office and construction sites.

With us you get

  • You will be part of a rapidly growing company within the green transition and on the forefront of developing a new baseline for our internal BESS solutions
  • We have an entrepreneurial approach to our work. In daily life, it means there’s not far from thought to action, and you will have trusted responsibilities no matter your seniority.
  • You will have a high impact on internal processes that will get streamlined for the future.
