Lead Product Development Engineer (System Integrator role)

- Are you experienced within system integration and passionate about reaching new heights in product development excellence?
As Lead Product Development Engineer, you will join Grundfos’ Domestic Building Services (DBS), Product development, more specifically the area of Domestic cold water. In this pivotal position, you take on the role as System Integrator, and your expertise will be crucial in delivering a product that meets specified product standards and exceeds customer expectations.
What is the job about?
You become responsible for defining system requirements and product architecture. You secure seamless system integration and verification, ensuring that the product is working, according to the specified standards.
Your responsibilities include:
• Strategic Leadership: Take the lead in strategic product and technology areas, ensuring the effective use of the Systems Engineering Manager role within the digital domain of Product development in DBS.
• System Development: Oversee the development and implementation of system requirements, architecture, realization, integration, verification, and validation within the digital domain.
• Platform Utilization: Drive the usage of our platform in development projects, leveraging the product family master plan and continuously enhancing it.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to lower band colleagues, setting the direction and supporting their development.
• Process and Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to defined processes and standards, proactively pushing for innovation and enhancements.
Your background
With a proven track record in end-to-end product development, you excel in actively using processes and standards to drive product development. You are a strong communicator, with the ability to set the technical direction for product development, ensuring followship.
To become a success in this role, you most likely work in a structured manner, and have a strong grasp of agile working methods and practices.
We imagine that you have:
• A Master or bachelor’s in engineering and preferably has Level B certification in System Engineering.
• Strong System Engineering background with extensive experience in product architecture, design, and requirement breakdown
• Great communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• High-level understanding of technical issues and ability to impact business and customer relationships.
