HSSEQ Specialist, Americas

At Blue Water Shipping we have a high focus on HSSEQ, combined with a growth strategy – therefore we are now looking for an experienced specialist to be a part of our remarkable journey.

Practicing, maintaining, and improving corporate HSSEQ values across and beyond the region
Your primary focus will be to support Management with HSSEQ topics, as well as ensuring compliance with the HSSEQ values across the organisation. You always comply with Blue Water Values, Policies and Code of Conduct.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Ensuring documentation alignment across functions on BU level and collaboration on Global Management System
• Working together with the regional directors/regional Group HSSEQ Heads
• Ensuring HSEQ docs for operation - both preparing and quality assurance
• Mitigating risks by auditing contracts
• Ensuring SRM compliance through audits

Strong knowledge of HSEQ regulations and standards
The right personality and mindset is very important to us. Furthermore, we are looking for these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with HSEQ regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability and interest in app. 10 travel days pr. year
