Core Cloud Architect, Digital Data & IT (DDI)

Do you empower business through a secure and scalable Azure Cloud Infrastructure? We are looking for a Core Cloud Architect who is focused on facilitating innovation and cloud solutions.

The team you will be part of
Join us as our new Core Cloud Architect in our Cloud Platform team and continuously design, implement, and optimize an Azure infrastructure that aligns with modern security and governance standards while supporting digital transformation across our Cloud Platform in GN.

You will become a part of Core Cloud, a team of skilled professionals within the enterprise platform. We are a collaborative group that supports and maintains the foundational technologies for GN's global cloud initiatives.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will

• Design and implement secure and scalable Azure Cloud Infrastructure that aligns with modern security and governance standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support digital transformation initiatives across GN
• Utilize Microsoft's frameworks and best practices to ensure robust cloud architecture and optimize resource management
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, supporting and improving Azure DevOps (ADO) deployment pipelines to streamline cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation, enhancing operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and governance policies within the Azure environment
• Continuously evaluate and optimize cloud infrastructure to support evolving business needs
• Execute automation efforts to improve scalability and reduce manual intervention in cloud operations

Experience with agile methodologies will be beneficial in this role.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

• have extensive experience in Azure cloud infrastructure, governance, and security practices
• have extensive experience in the design, implementation, and operations of Azure cloud solutions
• have technical skills complemented by engagement and communication abilities
• have proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IoC) and deployment pipeline methodologies
• have a keen interest in AI and automation platforms, tools, and solutions
• are fluency in English both written and verbally to effectively communicate in a multicultural environment

Your work will ensure our cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and efficiently managed. You will maintain the operational excellence of our cloud platforms, directly contributing to the security and reliability of our business operations. Our cloud services are primarily hosted on Microsoft Azure, and we operate within a hybrid cloud model as part of our platform transformation journey.
