About the role
To support our ambitions, we are looking for an ambitious Cloud Engineer to join our team distributed across Copenhagen and Singapore. We are inspired by the mission to provide high quality and timely services for the business and the projects we engage in whilst also getting the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology.
In this role you will get the chance to work on the development of our internal Developer and Observability Platforms which play a key role in developer productivity and operational stability. You will report directly to our Cloud Engineering Team Lead

What you will be doing

• Design and implement our Kubernetes Platform.
• Automate the creation and secure configuration of our cloud platform.
• Set up and configure modern monitoring and logging solutions.
• Troubleshooting and debugging infrastructure, network, and operating system issues.

Our tech stack includes:

• Azure Data and Messaging Services (Redis, Service Bus, Event Hub)
• Azure Compute Services (AKS, Web Apps)
• Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos)
• Programming languages (Go, Terraform)

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role preferably within a bank, a financial service provider or a regulated entity where you have at least 2 years of relevant working experience in a Cloud/DevOps/Platform Engineering team.
Hands-on experience in setting up and managing architectures and environments in Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults), Azure DevOps Ser-vices (CI/CD pipelines and git repositories) and Terraform is considered as an advantage.
As a person, you have an open-minded, can-do attitude. You thrive in a working environment where you are encouraged to take personal ownership of your tasks while also being a team-player dedicated to the success of the team.
You possess strong skills in communicating security principles, issues and incidents to peers and management, you also prioritize the importance of producing and maintaining related documentation and reports to ensure the knowledge sharing with your colleagues.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset
