Ework Group is looking for a People Lead Nordics, Global Compensation & Benefit Specialist to be a key strategic partner in talent management and organizational development across Norway, Denmark and Finland and globally responsible for Compensation & Benefits. This role combines both strategic People & Development and operational excellence to support our leaders and employees while ensuring compliance with compensation structures and payroll management.

About the Role
As People Lead, Global Compensation & Benefit Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, ensuring that our People strategies align with business goals. You will be responsible for talent management, performance development, payroll oversight, compensation & benefits planning, and compliance across the Nordic region (excluding Sweden). You will also support our global organization in compensation & benefits and drive strategic People initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR support to business leaders in Denmark, Finland, and Norway, advising on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Lead compensation & benefits planning on a global level and ensure alignment with market standards and compliance requirements.
- Oversee payroll operations in partnership with our external provider, ensuring accuracy and process efficiency.
- Support leaders and People & Development team in all aspects of the People Year Cycle, including performance reviews and development initiatives.
- Implement and manage EU Pay Transparency Directive compliance for 2026.
- Drive engagement initiatives, leadership development, and culture transformation.
- Partner with Finance on salary and pension cost planning and financial reporting.
- Act as a superuser for HR systems, providing training and support.
- Lead change management efforts and implement People policies tailored to the Nordic region.
- Represent Ework Group in internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits.
Who You Are
You are a collaborative and strategic HR professional with strong expertise in compensation & benefits, compliance, and talent development. You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and have a strong ability to balance both strategic initiatives and operational HR support.
We Believe You Bring
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a matrix organization and Nordic company.
- Proven ability to translate business goals into people strategies and implement People best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide data-driven People insights.
- Experience in compensation & benefits planning, payroll coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of salary review processes, financial reporting, and governance forums.
- Proficiency in HR administration, HRIS systems, and contract management.
- Experience with digitization initiatives and compliance with EU directives.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian (spoken and written) is required.
