We are looking for a Principal Engineer to strengthen our Automation and OT Cybersecurity department in Asker. As a Principal Engineer, you will contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition. Our portfolio covers manned and unmanned Oil and Gas topsides, High Voltage substations (HVAC or HVDC), electrification and other industry projects.
About the position
Aibel's Automation engineers design and specify automation systems solutions and strategies for projects in concept, study and detail phases. You will work with Risk assessment within an OT environment, developing strategies and solutions for ensuring compliance to Client and Regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities and tasks include
Depending on project, typical tasks will be:
- Lead OT cybersecurity risk assessment to required level of detail
- Realize and support engineering disciplines to ensure OT cybersecurity in design
- Follow-up of suppliers wrt network design and OT cybersecurity
- Assist in supplier testing wrt security
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements wrt OT cybersecurity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within relevant field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience from working with industrial control systems.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from working with security
- Overview of relevant legislation and regulations, such as EU NIS-1, EU NIS-2, EU CRA, Digital Security Act (Digitalsikkerhetsloven), Regulation on security and emergency preparedness in the power supply system (Kraftberedskapsloven), US NERC CIP, UK CAF
- Overview of standards for OT cybersecurity, especially IEC 62443
- Understanding of the threat landscape and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK for ICS
