We are looking for a very experienced C# developer to be an important part of our topology development team.

Secomea is headquartered in Nordhavn, Copenhagen, with offices in China, Japan and North America and has partnerships with a global network of distributors. What we are looking for
First and foremost, for team players that thrive in a rapidly growing environment. More specifically, we are looking for strong and passionate backend developers with an eye for continually improving the quality of our code base.

Secomea develops everything from hardware, firmware, and low-level kernel code to HTTP-based APIs and react front-ends. For this position we are looking for a strong backend C# developer, that can take a technical lead role for an experienced team working with our SaaS solution. We do not expect the candidates to have experience in all technologies, but a strong foundation in .NET and SaaS technologies is a must and should include several of the following skillsets:

  • Advanced C# Proficiency:
    • Deep understanding of C# language features, including asynchronous programming (async/await), generics, LINQ, reflection, and delegates/events.
    • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • .NET Core/ .NET (Modern Versions):
    • Extensive experience with the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core for web API development.
    • Knowledge of .NET dependency injection, configuration, and logging.
  • Database technology
    • Experience with NoSQL document databases like CouchDB, including its JSON-based data storage and RESTful API
  • Unit Testing and Integration Testing:
    • Experience with testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
    • Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
    • Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD).

SaaS and Cloud-Specific Skills:

  • Cloud Platforms (Azure):
    • Experience deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
    • Knowledge of cloud services like Azure App Service.
    • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a major plus.
  • RESTful API Design and Development:
    • Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for SaaS applications.
    • Understanding of API security best practices (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
  • Scalability and Performance Optimization:
    • Ability to design and implement scalable and performant SaaS solutions.
    • Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.

Security and OT-Specific Skills:

  • Security Best Practices:
    • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices for web applications and APIs.
    • Experience with encryption, authentication, and authorization.
  • OT (Operational Technology) Knowledge (Preferred):
    • Familiarity with OT protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT).
    • Understanding of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA systems.
    • Awareness of the unique security challenges in OT environments.
