Then we have an exciting job opportunity for you as QA Senior Professional for Raw Material (1-year parental cover) to support our quality assurance ambitions at Bavarian Nordic.
About the team
As we are in the joyful situation that one of our team members is expecting a child, we are looking for a maternity cover for 1-year period (approximately Maj-2025 to June-2026).
The growing QA Operations organization consists of 30 employees, 4 managers, and one director. In this role, you will be part of the dynamic QA for QC, Raw Materials, and Warehouse team which consists of 7 employees located in Germany (2) and Denmark (5). The team manages cases from the GMP organization for release results and stability, including the release of Raw Materials and Secondary Packaging Materials for use in Production.
The position is based in Denmark and requires you to be able to be on-site in Kvistgaard. You will report to the QA Manager for QC, Raw Materials, and Warehouse.

Your Impact
Your tasks primarily focus on the release of Raw Materials, including:
- Daily release of Raw Materials and Secondary Packaging Materials for Production and Technical Purposes
- Approval of Raw Materials and Secondary Packaging Specifications and Material Specifications
- Handling Supplier Complaints
- QA review and approval of SOPs, Change Control, Deviations, and Continuous Improvements in Veeva (QMS Tasks)
- Continuous improvement in processes related to Raw Materials release

- A relevant academic degree (Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or similar)
- GMP experience and knowledge of Quality Management systems (QMS)
- Experience in QA, preferably within a pharmaceutical company
- Fluency in English and Danish, both written and verbal
