YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As the Head of New Business Development you will spearhead our new advertisement business and be responsible for selling advertising space on our vehicles and in our app to brands, agencies, and media buyers across Europe. In this role you will report directly to the Chief Business Officer and use your expertise, network, strategic mindset and grit to drive revenue and develop innovative advertising solutions and build a new vertical that leverage Voi’s high-visibility in the urban space. This will include:
- Developing and executing a media sales strategy to drive revenue growth across Voi’s advertising inventory
- Proactively identifying and establishing partnerships with advertisers, media agencies, and brand marketers
- Managing the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring strong client relationships and repeat business
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to optimize advertising solutions and apply knowledge of strategies and best practices to solve complex problems in the domain of expertise
- Monitoring and analysing sales performance, market trends, and activities from industry peers to refine the go-to-market strategy
- Ensuring and having full accountability for smooth campaign execution and post-campaign reporting to advertisers
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We’re looking for an analytical and business minded advertising professional with experience from independently building strong partnerships, negotiating terms and exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced sales environment. In addition to this, we believe the right person has:
- Experience in media sales for Out-of-Home (OOH) and programmatic advertising
- A network of advertisers, agencies, and media buyers across key European markets
- Understanding of digital advertising trends, ad-tech, and performance measurement
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and business growth
- Professional fluency in English, professional fluency in German is a merit
