Arla IT Solutions is experiencing rapid growth, and we are looking for an inspirational Director to spearhead the department. The role involves collaboration with supporting business functions—Finance, Legal, and HR—and cross-functional business zones, including International and Arla Food Ingredients (AFI). Your responsibility is to provide innovative IT and digital solutions to these essential areas.

How you will make an impact
In this role, you will be responsible for four dedicated teams, ensuring seamless delivery to International and AFI through collaboration with our other IT functional teams. As part of the global IT Solutions management team, you will contribute to setting the direction and fostering continuous development of our IT Solutions department, where cutting-edge IT solutions are crafted.

Our Finance, Legal, and HR teams operate predominantly in an agile delivery model, with dedicated teams for each solution. We have ambitious plans to modernize our Finance IT landscape, upgrade our Payroll systems, build a robust data foundation for HR, and integrate essential legal solutions into our global IT infrastructure. AFI and International are Arla’s fastest-growing business units, and your role will be pivotal in developing a comprehensive IT & Digital roadmap and establishing a unified IT operating model. This partnership between IT and AFI/International is crucial for future growth, with projects ranging from rolling out Arla’s global IT systems to new markets, to creating tailored solutions for unique business needs.

Further, your role includes:

• People management for approximately 20 talented colleagues
• Initiate a strong delivery methodology to ensure efficient and effective outcomes across all IT solutions teams
• Engage in leadership forums, boards, and steering committees at strategic and tactical levels
• Build and retain vital relationships with stakeholders from VP level and below

You are a passionate people manager who can inspire and drive meaningful change. As an effective communicator, you excel at building robust relationships both within and beyond the IT department, leading with ambition and empathy. Collaboration and facilitation across diverse groups, functions, locations, and cultures are among your core strengths as well as the ability to translate detailed technical language into business context and vice versa, communicating broadly across Arla. In addition, the ideal candidate has:

• Extensive experience in program management of complex IT development or a proven track record in leadership roles within cross-functional IT delivery
• Experience working in agile environments, possessing strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset
• A global mindset and strong English skills are essential due to the role's international scope
