Set the course for our sustainability agenda at COWI
Our strategy, FUTURE-NOW, has increased our growth in the segments of transformation within building and industry, hence we are on the lookout for a new Head of Discipline for our transformation unit, you will be engaged in guiding a skilled team of approximately 18 specialists. Your leadership will affect the future of COWI’s transformational projects ensuring technical high standards, encouraging a culture of engagement, and managing projects to effective completion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing and implementing strategies, action plans, and initiatives that promote business growth and effective results for the transformation discipline.
- Serving as a senior specialist, project manager, or discipline lead on key projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Guiding the discipline group beyond project work by encouraging professional growth, maintaining a clear overview of employees’ skills, and ensuring effective staffing including recruitment, promotions, and optimizing team capacity.
- Providing coaching and mentorship to team members, developing them through individualized plans and constructive feedback.
What we are looking for?
We are searching for someone who understand the importance of balancing business needs with employee development, and you create an environment where team members are valued and motivated.
On top of that, you will have:
- A degree in engineering, coupled with substantial experience in managing or delivering transformational projects or similar.
- Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the transformational sector, both within Denmark and on an international scale.
- A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
- As a person you are characterized as a team supervisor and excel in empowering your employees.
- Effective communication abilities in both Danish and English, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
