Health Care Specialist

Bestseller

Can you imagine yourself in a dynamic team of health and wellbeing specialists, dedicated to supporting our colleagues throughout every stage of their health journey? Then bring your ambitions and proactive attitude and jump onboard your next challenge!
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in both preventing sickness, ensuring smooth transitions during sick leave, and a robust return-to-work process throughout BESTSELLER in Denmark.

JOIN OUR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TEAM
As a Health Care Specialist, you’ll join our Social Responsibility team within the central PEOPLE department in Denmark. We are a team of eight close-knit colleagues dedicated to fostering a supportive work culture where every employee feels cared for and empowered to thrive. Our responsibility is to develop and maintain policies, processes, and partnerships in BESTSELLER's global social responsibility area — covering health, safety, benefits, engagement, and well-being, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion.

YOUR IMPACT
As Health Care Specialist, your proactive and empathetic approach plays a key role in preventing sickness, as well as supporting our Danish colleagues and managers during long-term sick leave and ensuring a smooth return to work. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to navigate the complexities of public and private health services.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Proactively working to prevent sickness across the organization by fostering a healthy and supportive work environment.
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues on long-term sick leave, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Assisting colleagues in navigating municipalities, insurance providers, and BESTSELLER’s health offerings.
  • Acting as a neutral mediator in sick leave dialogues to facilitate constructive communication between colleagues and managers when relevant.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners (e.g., pension advisor WTW) to address specific cases and optimize health benefit utilization.
  • Analyzing and following up on data to support colleagues and foster organizational learning.
  • Develop and drive a network amongst colleagues to support their transition back to work and overall well-being – and prevent relapses.

YOUR BENEFITS

  • Impactful Role: Play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the well-being of our colleagues across the organization.
  • Innovative Environment: Work in a culture that welcomes new ideas and swiftly turns them into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborative Culture: Join a skilled, supportive, and passionate team with key impact on BESTSELLERs commitment to being a socially responsible employer and continuously supporting employee well-being.

YOUR PROFILE
Your excellent communication skills allow you to facilitate trusted and meaningful dialogues with colleagues and managers, and you have a data-driven mindset that enables you to transform insights into actions. You thrive in collaborative environments and naturally engage with diverse stakeholders to drive impactful solutions.

Moreover, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience from a similar role, where you have been sparring partner for managers and employees in regard to sick leave, stress handling, and supporting colleagues return to work.
  • Brings an educational background as Bachelor of Social Work, Business Psychologist or similar, where the focus is the psychosocial working environment and mental well-being.
  • In-depth knowledge of both the public and private sector is preferred. Ideally you have worked with municipalities and pension companies and therefore have good knowledge of the legislation and opportunities available.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

DON’T BE A STRANGER
If you have any questions regarding the position, you are welcome to contact Rikke Tindbæk Sandberg on +45 30 85 28 61. Otherwise, please send us your CV no later than the 25th of April 2025. We will be reviewing and interviewing candidates on an ongoing basis and reserve the right to remove the advertisement, when we find the right candidate.

Work Location: Aarhus or Brande, depending on your preference. There will be occasional visits to other relevant sites in Denmark as needed.
