Your position
As an HR Generalist, you will be an essential part of our Gdynia office, working alongside engineers, strategic buyers and controllers. We are a key player in the renewable energy sector, delivering large-scale energy projects that support the global transition to clean energy. With one of the largest offshore substation project portfolios globally, we are proud to be market leaders in this field.

In this role, you will serve as the local HR expert for over 50 colleagues, managing a full spectrum of HR responsibilities - from A-Z recruitment to advising on labour law. You will work closely with our HR team at headquarters in Denmark, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Your tasks & responsibilities
You will oversee all local HR functions, supporting the business with expert advice and efficient processes. You will collaborate with managers in Poland and Denmark, drive initiatives that enhance our workplace culture, ensure compliance with labour regulations and serve as the liaison to our external payroll vendor.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the recruitment process, including, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
  • Supporting the annual HR cycle, including reviews, surveys etc.
  • Advising and supporting managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Providing legal support and guidance in HR-related queries in compliance and according to legislation and business strategy.
  • Fostering employee belonging, development and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensuring collaboration with local educational institutions and other relevant external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and optimizing HR systems and processes.
  • Planning of smaller office events.

Your profile & qualifications
You are a service-oriented professional with a proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A strong communicator, you are capable of building positive relationships across all levels of the organisation and tackling challenges head-on. With a solution-focused approach, you anticipate needs, address issues before they arise and drive improvements in local HR processes.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, Polish labour laws and local regulations.
  • A degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist or similar role in an international company, preferably Scandinavian.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in Polish and English.
