To help ensuring that we continue to deliver high quality products, we are looking for an experienced, structured and cooperative Senior Product Quality Specialist to join our global quality organization, more specifically the team, PMO Strategy & Product Quality.
Your challenges
You will join a team of 5 dedicated and skilled colleagues – specialists in Product Quality as well as Quality Project Managers. The position as Senior Product Quality Specialist is based at our offices in Skjern and will be focusing on our accessories product portfolio (shutters, blinds, electronics etc.) and you will report directly to QHSE&E PMO Manager, Maria Juhl Andersen.
As Senior Product Quality Specialist, you will coordinate and ensure product quality deliverables in our New Product Launch projects.
As it is a revised setup, you will have a unique opportunity to really make an imprint on the direction and development of the quality deliverables in the product track.
More specifically, you will:
- Ensure early stage product risk assessment and risk mitigation during product design phase through close collaboration with our product development team and facilitation of SFMEAs and DFMEAs
- Participate in Design for Manufacturing process with focus on CTQ’s
- Develop quality deliverables in the product track
- Consult with quality specialists focusing on supply quality deliverables to ensure bridging of “Product track” and “Supply track”
- Ensure transfer of documented high risks between FMEA documents
- Contribute FMEA risks and other quality assurance issues to Risk Manager's "Risk Picture"
- Oversee risks at the interfaces – between Supply and Design tracks and among different products in design phase – and facilitate dialogue with relevant stakeholders
- Assist Risk Manager in calculating predictive Market Failure Rate (MFR) based on existing data and bring learnings from products in the market into the new products risk assessment
Your Qualifications
Since you will be working on quality assurance on our Accessories product portfolio incl. electronic components, we expect you to have an interest and some knowledge in electronics. Maybe you even have an educational background in electronics, e.g. electronics engineering, electrical engineering, electrical technology specialization, electrician or similar, though not a prerequisite. Additionally, you bring some experience in product risk management, ideally of products containing electronic components.
Additionally, we imagine that you:
- Hold product risk management process knowledge and experience
- Have a well-equipped quality management toolbox incl. proficiency in FMEA, CTQ – advantage with DFMEA experience but not a prerequisite
- Have a good understanding of product interfaces and production processes
- Take a structured approach to delivering timely on your responsibilities and facilitate risk management in a systematic way
- Are curious and utilize your curiosity in a constructive way to mitigate risks
- Are characterized by your ability to navigate proficiently with a wide variety of stakeholders and fostering collaboration
- Are a skilled communicator and communicates in English at a professional level. Danish skills will be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
