Application Manager

You will be joining the global function IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE) with reference to the Director of Business Applications. You will be part of a team of skilled Solution Architects and Application Managers who is focused on ensuring applications support business processes while maintaining high standards of performance, availability, and compliance across all applications.

About the job
In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of two key applications, which consist of a learning management system (LearnUpon) and a custom built portal for managing loyalty and leads for our CEE region.

Your primary responsibilities will include to:

• Act as the primary point of contact for the business on queries and issues related to the applications.
• Provide input to the application roadmap, including rationalizations, optimization opportunities, and new security or architectural requirements.
• Provide cost input for technical planning, build and run activities, and manage the assigned technical part of the budget.
• Serve as the primary contact for relevant vendors, ensuring they deliver in accordance with agreements and SLAs.
• Oversee implementation, service introduction, regular maintenance, upgrades, and support of the application.
• Monitor application compliance with information security standards and keep business owners informed of any deviations and risks.
• On smaller projects translate business needs to specific requirements for applications and manage timelines and resources

You will be based at our offices in either Warsaw or Hørsholm enjoying the benefits of flexible working when it makes sense for you and the business. You can expect limited travel.

About you
We are looking for you who have experience in designing, developing or implementing multi-country applications. Ideally you also bring knowledge of B2B processes.

Furthermore, you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in IT consultancy, application management, or a similar role.
• Solid business understanding with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Great analytical and organisational skills and structured problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced interpersonal and collaborative skills making you capable of working with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
