Sustainability Specialist

Are you motivated by sustainability and ESG, and want to play a key role in developing the sustainability function in DLG Group? We are seeking a Sustainability Specialist who wants to help expand our capabilities within data, analysis, planning and reporting in a sustainability setting and thereby establish the Group ESG function as a credible and professional partner to our organisation.

Key responsibilities
As Sustainability Specialistyour responsibilities will be within

• Climate transition plan: Drive development of a climate transition plan together with the organisation to meet strategic aspirations
• Sustainability statements: Drive the development and publication of sustainability statements in line with SBTi, CSRD and DLG Group’s strategic aspirations
• ESG KPI development: Identify and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking and measuring ESG performance.
• Data: Coordinate with finance organization and group entities to gather necessary data and ensure timely completion of ESG reporting.
• ESG analysis: Monitor and analyse ESG KPIs to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Advisor role: Serve as a subject matter expert on sustainability topics to integrate sustainability considerations into business strategies and operation

Your profile
You are experienced within sustainability and ESG reporting with a professional and positive approach. We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications

• Educational background: Master's degree in a scientific field, business, ESG or related field
• Experience: You have relevant experience from a position within sustainability and ESG reporting
• Expertise: Understanding of sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks, e.g. GHG-Protocol, Science Based Targets and CSRD with the ability to transform your understanding into action
• Data: You work methodically and are skilled in working with data and data analysis
• Approach: You approach tasks pragmatically and collaborate well with colleagues across our diverse organisation
• Language skills: You communicate well in Danish and English, and preferably also German.

You will become part of Group ESG and work closely with colleagues in establishing the team as a professional ESG partner to management and the organisation.
