Core Responsibilities
As a Manager in the Procurement Centre of Excellence, you will work closely with both direct and indirect procurement categories to identify opportunities that enhance core procurement processes globally. You will focus on optimising procurement workflows, leveraging technology, and driving excellence in sourcing and risk management. Responsibilities will include:
- Process optimisation – End-to-end procurement process optimisation, focusing on utilising technology (including artificial intelligence where applicable)
- Sourcing excellence – adoption of automated sourcing, e-auctions & complex sourcing digital tools
- Tail spend management – Support the development of tools and process to manage of non-strategic spend for the category teams

Procurement Transformation is part of the Global procurement team, center-led and functional driven, fully integrated into the LEGO Groups’ systems and processes that connect the overall business strategy & requirements with the global product categories and regional procurement teams.
The Manager, Procurement Centre of Excellence reports to the Director, Procurement Transformation and will support in the evolution of the digital ways of working for procurement employees of the company.
The Procurement organization is mainly based across the LEGO hubs and sites; Billund, Singapore, Shanghai, Enfield, London, Shenzhen, and in other manufacturing locations: Czech Republic, Hungary, China, and Mexico.
Do you have what it takes?
You probably hold a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business Management with focus on Supply chain, Legal or Finance and have:
- Procurement experience, preferably in direct category (e.g. materials purchasing)
- Experience working with procurement systems (like SAP, Coupa or other P2P platforms)
- Experience working with process optimisation methodologies such as Lead or Six Sigma is desirable
- An understanding of the application of artificial intelligence in procurement
- Experience in optimizing processes will be an advantage
- Proven corporate experience – ideally in a Procurement/Finance or IT environment with an understanding of Procurement processes and responsibilities
- Good stakeholder management skills, with ability to partner across the organization to support procurement priorities
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to work under pressure and to prioritize with challenging demands
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and sometimes unpredictable environment
- Be seen as a true value driver, with the confidence to highlight and deliver on opportunities to improve
- Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and maintain relationships with both internal collaborators and external suppliers
- Fluency or full proficiency in English oral and written
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
