About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled ICT Risk Manager, to join our Risk Management team in Copenhagen. You will reporting to the CISO/DPO.
Part of the 2nd LOD and you oversee assisting the Authorised Management in managing and limiting the risks Banking Circle is exposed to and safeguard that any risks outside the Risk Appetite Framework are adequately assessed and reported.

What you will be doing

  • Monitoring and overseeing the operational effectiveness of the framework.
  • Ensuring that processes and methodologies are in place for the proper identification, measurement, monitoring, management, mitigation, and reporting of ICT and Security Risks.
  • Facilitating Risk & Control Self-Assessments to help the 1st Line of Defense (LOD) properly document their risks, challenging the 1st LOD, and proactively conducting independent risk assurance activities.
  • Overseeing ICT Change Management activities related to your area of responsibility by participating in various development projects and providing constructive risk advice.
  • Ensuring that appropriate mitigating actions are initiated to rectify any material gaps and shortcomings and conducting risk exceptions if needed.
  • Participating in relevant forums to ensure formally documented dialogue and close interaction with the 1st LOD, facilitating a common understanding of key risk areas and necessary deliveries.
  • Providing value-adding risk analysis and input for 2nd LOD reporting of identified risks to both Authorized Management and the Board of Directors.
  • Ensuring that necessary risk training and awareness sessions are provided to staff, promoting a strong risk culture throughout the company.

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role preferably within a bank where you have min 5 years’ work experience with a holistic and solid understanding of banking landscape.
You hold you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and an extensive knowledge of risk measurement systems and concept as well as to establish relevant Risk and Internal Control Frameworks. Proven track record and experience working within the risk management area or equivalent within an advisory or consultancy environments.
Knowledge and experience in both ICT Security and Risk Management and hold applicable qualifications (CRISK, CISA, CISM, etc.).
Ideally a grasp of, or experience in the payments industry

Great communicator, you possess strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
You have a high attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset
