Consultancy in psychiatry or position as senior researcher combined with a clinical professorship in psychotherapy

A clinical position as consultant of psychiatry or as senior researcher at the Psychotherapeutic Center Stolpegård, Copenhagen University Hospital - Mental Health Services CPH is open for appointment from as soon as possible.
The position is combined with a 5-year externally funded position as clinical professor of Psychotherapy at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
It is a requirement that the applicant is accepted for appointment of both the professorship and the clinical position.

About the department
Psychotherapeutic Center Stolpegaard is part of The Mental Health Service in the Capital Region. Stolpegaard consist of three large out-patient units treating non-psychotic patients primarily with psychotherapy in the psychiatric sector, a research unit with focus on psychotherapy with both effect and process research, use of new technologies, and a Clinical Academic Group for Psychotherapy which has a goal to develop psychotherapy in psychiatry and strengthen the relationship between evidence and clinical practice. Stolpegaard treats 1400 patients a year and has approximately 100 employees.
Clinical functions and focus areas of the department
Participates in specialized treatment for anxiety, OCD, PTSD, personality disorder or dual diagnosis, where the primary focus is psychotherapy for these conditions in the psychiatric sector. In addition, the tasks will be planning and development of research initiatives in the clinic as well as teaching on courses in psychotherapy.
Research and teaching
With the new position as clinical professor of psychotherapy, the Department of Psychiatry wishes to strengthen leadership in clinical research and teaching.
Qualifications
Consultant applicants must be board-certified specialists in psychiatry.
Senior Researcher applicants must be specialists in psychology.
Conditions
In order to be considered, the applicant must send an application to both the Faculty (the professorship) and to the hospital (the clinical position) cf. the simultaneously advertised position of the professorship. Appointment is conditioned by the fact that the applicant obtains both positions. This also applies to the applicants who are already employed as consultants or senior researchers at The Mental Health Service in the Capital Region.
Salary and conditions of employment as consultant are as agreed between the Danish Regions and the Danish Association of Medical Specialists and between the Capital Region and University of Copenhagen.
As clinical professor at least 50 % of the working time will be allocated to academic tasks (e.g., research, teaching, evaluation tasks and communication with the public) in agreement with the Head of Department of Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Copenhagen. The remaining time will be allocated for clinical work in agreement with the head of Psychotherapeutic Center Stolpegård, Copenhagen University Hospital - Mental Health Services CPH. The clinical professor will receive secretarial or technical support equivalent to 50 % of a fulltime secretary position from Psychotherapeutic Center Stolpegård. Additional support and details on the working conditions must be negotiated with the head of Psychotherapeutic Center Stolpegård, Copenhagen University Hospital - Mental Health Services CPH.
