WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US
To support our Securities Operations team, which is part of the investment operations services (IOS), we are looking for a Senior Operations Analyst. You will participate in projects aimed at process improvement and change management, while also engaging in daily operational tasks in SimCorp Dimension. You should have extensive experience in the financial industry, particularly in trade capture, reconciliation and/or lifecycle management.

Ensuring efficient processes and effective adoption of our technology platforms is crucial to ensure we reach our full potential, which is why this role is essential to us. We are therefore looking for someone with demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives and projects, including the ability to describe and document solutions effectively. Proficiency in SimCorp Dimension and a digital mindset are essential.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Monitor and participate in daily trade capture, reconciliation and/or lifecycle management related production work.
  • Contribute to overall effectiveness of the team.
  • Independently resolve complex issues on the full process within a trade capture, reconciliation and lifecycle management environment while leveraging solid understanding of the function and procedures; may guide team to meet deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and accomplish objectives; may serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
  • Exercise independent judgment/critical thinking in the workflow and controls to minimalize the effects of operational breakdowns.
  • Lead or contribute to client onboardings, operational projects, implementation of changes and new or revised processes that require coordination among operation teams

WHAT WE VALUE

  • More than 5 years of experience working with Simcorp Dimension in the investment industry
  • Profound understanding of at least one back office functions, such as Trade Processing, Reconciliations and lifecycle management.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English Language) with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify problems, analyze them, and propose solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively. Interpersonal skills to be able to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
