LabWare LIMS Specialist – Drive Digital Laboratory Transformation

At Nordic Bioscience, we are investing in LIMS as a cornerstone of our digital transformation. We are now looking for a senior LabWare LIMS Specialist to join our IT & Digitalization team.
Your Role - Take Ownership of Our LabWare LIMS Platform
As our new Senior LabWare LIMS Specialist, you will play a central role in our small but skilled team, working alongside existing specialist to strengthen and expand our LabWare LIMS capabilities.

• Be responsible for the complete lifecycle of the LabWare LIMS platform – from design, implementation, validation, to daily support.
• Act as the key internal advisor on system architecture, customization, and integration strategies.
• Analyze laboratory workflows and configure LIMS functionalities to support a CAP certified laboratory need.
• Interface and integrate LabWare LIMS with laboratory instruments, external databases, and internal systems such as ELN, PowerBI using direct access and/or API’s
• Coordinate with LabWare and external consultants for support, upgrades, and best practices.
• Train and support internal users, develop SOPs and ensure full documentation of system configurations.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other regulatory standards.

Your Background – Technologist with a Drive for Improvement
You are the right candidate if you bring a combination of technical skills, scientific insight, and collaborative energy:

Hard skills:

• Hands-on experience with LabWare LIMS (preferably LabWare 7).
• Knowledge of LIMS Basic, scripting, SQL, and system configuration.
• Experience with integration of instruments and third-party systems (HL7, ASTM, REST APIs, ELN, ERP).
• Understanding of laboratory operations, data flow, and regulatory requirements (GxP, ISO, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Experience with system validation, change control, and documentation.

Soft skills:

• You are self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• You enjoy working across teams and functions, translating user needs into scalable solutions.
• You are structured, yet creative in your problem-solving approach.
• You take pride in mentoring users and contributing to process efficiency.
