The Role
Be the financial backbone of Teton. As our first senior finance hire, you will build and own the finance function end‑to‑end across multiple entities and currencies. You’ll tighten controls, accelerate our monthly close, drive planning and unit economics, and ensure we’re always investor‑ready. You’ll partner closely with the CEO and leadership on capital deployment, pricing and go‑to‑market decisions while laying the systems foundation for scale.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and oversee:

• Scaling Strategy & Growth – guide the company’s rapid expansion and ensure capital deployed efficiently
• Planning & Performance – forecasting, modeling, metrics reporting, and partnering with commercial and technology teams.
• Commercial & Capital Finance – revenue recognition (hardware + SaaS), deal desk, fundraising support, treasury, and FX.
• Accounting & Controls – monthly close, multi-entity consolidation, accounting policies, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Systems & Compliance – build and optimize the finance stack; ensure tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance across regions.
• Leadership – hire and scale the finance team as we grow, and drive operational maturity.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in finance with 2+ years leading finance at a venture‑backed B2B company; comfortable operating from small scale and up to $100M revenue. Ideally has experience with a Series B round.
• Exceptional FP&A skills: financial modeling, scenario planning, cohort/churn analysis, and unit economics.
• Systems builder who has owned an ERP and automated finance workflows; advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Owner‑operator mindset: hands‑on, detail‑obsessed, clear written communication, and bias to ship.
• Nice to have; Some M&A experience, as well as some debt-financing knowledge.
