Senior Clinical Evidence Manager
Oticon Medical BAHS specializes in developing, producing, and distributing advanced bone-anchored hearing systems, including long-term implants, sound processors, software, and surgical tools. We are a global leader in hearing solutions, and we are currently looking for a Senior Clinical Evidence Manager to join our Clinical Affairs team in Gothenburg, Sisjön.

As Senior Clinical Evidence Manager at Oticon Medical, you play a key role in delivering clinical evidence and expertise across the organization. You drive clinical evaluations of our products and provide essential insights throughout development and the product life cycle. To do this, you stay up to date with scientific literature and regulations, translating them into effective clinical strategies. You also disseminate evidence and adapt scientific content for diverse audiences, from internal training and scientific conferences to marketing campaigns and customer events.

You are a part of the Clinical Affairs Team, collaborating closely with R&D, QA/RA, Marketing and Sales, while also building strong relationships with external clinicians and researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and drive the clinical evaluation process for the Oticon Medical product portfolio, including but not limited to state of the art monitoring/reporting, clinical evaluation plan/report, post-market clinical follow-up plan/report, post market surveillance input.
• Scan, read and process relevant scientific literature
• Act as clinical specialist and provide expertise and support in the development of new medical devices
• Provide clinical insights and support the design of clinical investigations
• Act as subject matter expert and support colleagues and healthcare professionals in the use of Oticon Medical products
• Ensure evidence dissemination and develop content for training, scientific conferences, marketing campaigns, and customer events.

Your profile will guide the exact tasks you will work with, and the job will vary, stretching from strategic decisions to hands-on operational tasks related to medical device clinical department.

You can expect some days of business travel per year with variation depending on project and phase.

Your profile:

Ideally you hold a university degree in Audiology, Medicine, Life Science, or a similar field, with experience with regulatory processes related to medical device development and a solid understanding of clinical evaluation. In addition, you have experience with scientific publishing, clinical evidence generation, and research methodology is required, preferably within hearing devices or audiology.

You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills. You have the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with researchers and healthcare professionals.

You have a pragmatic and commercial mindset and combine a scientific approach with business awareness, are result-oriented and pay attention to both detail and the bigger picture.
