We’re looking for ambitious engineers to join our Sales team, working closely with international customers in multiple industries to incorporate our state-of-the-art, transmission grating based spectrometers into their new solutions.

Your role: Business Development Engineer
As part of our 8-person Sales & Marketing team, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities in North America, Europe and/or Asia-Pacific. Your will identify new customers, secure their commitment, and facilitate their strong collaboration with our R&D team.

Based at our offices in Denmark, you will receive extensive training in our products and technologies, and build important relationships. You will have an opportunity to travel the world, participating in exhibitions and conferences, and liaising international customers with your colleagues in R&D to bring new products from concept to production.

Your tasks will include:

• Discovering unmet needs at large international customers
• Identifying and securing new projects and key accounts
• Driving growth within designated regions or industries
• Collaborating with our teams to develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs

What you bring
We are looking for an ambitious colleague, highly motivated to make a difference. Our ideal candidate is technically strong and a great team player, with a strong desire to bring innovative solutions to market.

Ideally, you have:

• A degree in engineering or similar, focused on optics or photonics
• A proactive and energetic personality with a strong desire to engage with customers every day
• An ability to identify and communicate how our solutions add value to customer applications
• Patience and perseverance to navigate long sales cycles and secure business opportunities

We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English or German. Additional languages are an advantage, while Danish is not a prerequisite.
