IT and Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a talented IT and Cyber Security Specialist to join outeamas we shape our ambitious global security strategy. Based in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our security landscape across all levels of the organization.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize security technologies within the Microsoft stack
- Respond to security incidents in close cooperation with the incident management team and our SOC partner
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure team and ServiceDesk incident management teams to ensure integration of security practices and resolution of security-related issues
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security measures aligned with global strategy
- Act as a subject matter expert, translating security concepts into practical, actionable solutions throughout the organization
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of MDR, SIEM, Defender, AzureProven experience with security incident response and collaboration with SOC teams
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of implementing OT and IT security measures in pharmaceutical or similar production environments
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as NIS2, ISO27001, CIS18, and NIST
- Proficiency in risk identification, assessment, and prioritization
- Interest in artificial intelligence security applications

In Bavarian Nordic Global IT and ITO, security is a part of our mindset. We work to constantly to strengthen our tech resilience on all verticals. We are a core team of four, but in the everyday all our IT colleagues are taking part in the security focus.
You will be referring directly to the Director of ITO.
