As a Senior Platform Engineer in the Customer and Sector Integration Tribe, SWIFT Team, you will play a vital role in supporting one of Danske Bank’s critical systems. Your responsibilities will include managing the infrastructure to ensure the highest security standards, guaranteeing high availability, and performing essential upgrades to the SWIFT environment. You will also be responsible for servicing other critical servers within the SWIFT Team’s remit, ensuring 24/7 operational excellence.

As part of the SWIFT Team, you will contribute to planning and executing software and infrastructure upgrades, analysing and improving platform performance and reliability, optimising operations, and implementing automated monitoring capabilities. Your work will ensure maximum uptime, performance, and reliability of the platform, making a meaningful impact on the success of the team and the organisation.

You will:

• Analyse and improve the performance and reliability of SWIFT platforms as well as other services
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in both test and production environments
• Collaborate as part of the engineering team and participate in on-call duties to ensure 24/7 platform availability and stability
• Ensure the highest security standards are met and deploy the latest software levels while meeting strict deadlines
• Automate processes and operations to enhance efficiency
• Drive improvements and gain practical experience with emerging technologies
• Work within an international expert team focused on delivering innovative, business-facing solutions

About you:

• Proficiency in networking and Linux, along with strong skills in bash scripting
• Experience in deploying and optimising highly critical systems and infrastructures
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and their implementation
• Knowledge of SWIFT systems, including gateway and connectivity products such as SAG, SNL, and AWP
• Skills in IT security tools, such as log management and identity management, to ensure robust security practices
• Awareness of IT security practices, ideally within the financial sector, with the ability to apply them effectively
• Experience in handling PKI infrastructure, with expertise in managing SafeNet HSM or SWIFT-branded HSM preferred
• Upper-Intermediate written and spoken English skills to communicate effectively in an international environment

We offer:
This position can be located in either Lithuania or Denmark. If the position is based in Lithuania, the salary range is from 4160 EUR to 6240 EUR gross (depending on your skills relevant to the job).
