Your role and responsibilities

Lead financial governance and drive business performance in a dynamic, global environment! At ABB Robotics, we are shaping the future of automation and robotics, and we are currently looking for our new Fiduciary Finance Manager for our Nordic Cluster.

The role comprises fiduciary and business responsibilities and you will be responsible for ensuring that ABB Robotics operates to the required standard and is compliant with all applicable finance governance across the Nordic Cluster. You will coordinate the local functions and business teams to ensure consistency, expertise, and dedicated focus to finance related regulatory and business matters.

This is a unique opportunity to combine governance expertise with hands-on business leadership in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Required work location: Västerås, Sweden

Examples of responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with global and local fiduciary standards, including US GAAP, local statutory reporting, legal, tax, and internal controls.
• Act as the authorized signatory for statutory filings, legal documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee financial management and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accuracy and actionable insights.
• Drive cash flow optimization and cost efficiency, aligning with business objectives and improving working capital.
• Provide financial and commercial input during contract negotiations, risk reviews, and strategic projects, including M&A and reorganizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and strategic initiatives, while promoting a culture of integrity, compliance, and ethical conduct in all financial activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA, ACA, or CIA preferred.
• 8–10+ years of senior finance experience within corporate, industrial, or B2B environments, with proven leadership capabilities.
• Expertise in compliance, internal controls, and legal risk management.
• Strong proficiency in project accounting, financial modeling, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of translating financial data into actionable insights.
• Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory.
