The role
Your key responsibility is to ensure that HSEQ is built into our operational activities and tasks.
In addition, you will support Muelhan Wind Service in developing and enhancing our systems.
You will also support HSEQ performance and thereby be an important player in shaping the future HSEQ standards, as well as performance in Muehlhan Wind Service.
The results will be achieved through collaboration, good cooperation, and a commitment to efficiency and MWS values.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure suitable and sufficient Safe Systems of Work for operational activities and tasks for all Business Units within the organisation
- Contribute to and deliver HSE documentation (RAMS, Project documentation, plans for executions, Coshh assesments, Safety Alerts etc.) and ensure their robustness and functionality
- Develop, lead and follow up proactive HSE initiatives and campaigns
- Support, train and coach our colleagues in back-office and on site
- Contribute to implementing Behavioral Based Safety campaigns and focus on building a strong health and safety culture
- Conduct site inspections according to company standards
- Ensure registration, analyzing, including improvements and preventive actions based
on performance, inspection and review
- Develop a robust collaborative culture with both internal and external partners.
- Support functional HSEQ (audit, rescue set-up, investigation, MWS system, processes
- and methodology etc.)
- Lead incident Investigations and ensure suitable and sufficient preventive actions
- Act as ambassador for “The Muehlhan Way” of working
- There will be regular international travel involved in the role, estimated 1 time per month.
- Review HSE compliance for a variety of regions and lead the way to support the compliance department as the HSE specialist in Denmark.
Skills, abilities, and knowledge:
- Possess good human qualities and strong work ethic.
- Have solid experience from the wind industry.
- You have experience with investigation methodologies such as Taproot, 5why, fault tree analysis etc.
- Be comfortable reading and understanding technical specifications as well as standards.
- Have professional and industry experience is highly advantageous.
- You are a teamplayer – have a positive attitude towards people.
- Have good knowledge of a problem-solving mindset and a keen focus on continuous improvement.
- Be robust, calm and balanced.
- Have a good knowledge of ISO systems.
- Are highly motivated and thrive in an independent role.
- Are motivated by working autonomously and can take the initiative to make decisions.
- Have knowledge and experience in the use of the usual IT tools
- Ability to organize work time and structure.
- Have a positive attitude and commitment to work.
- Be able to write, speak and understand English.
- Hold a recognised HSE qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
- You must be fluent in Danish and English
