EG Housing is the market leader in software for property administration in Denmark, and our dedicated team consists of more than 70 colleagues across three Danish locations, as well as colleagues in India and Poland. We develop software solutions for both private landlords and public housing associations. Our customers include the largest players in the market, and the customer base is continuously growing.

EG Bolig is our core system and the market leader within housing administration. EG Bolig consists of three software teams in Aarhus and one team in India. EG Bolig is characterized by close collaboration with our customers, including several of the major actors in the industry.

Your Role: Build high-quality software and help drive the team forward
As a Senior Software Developer, you will work in a hybrid team with colleagues across multiple locations. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software that supports our customers’ core business.

Alongside your development work, you will have the opportunity to take on Scrum Master responsibilities — facilitating team ceremonies, supporting healthy team dynamics, and helping the team continuously
improve its ways of working.

“Software development is a team sport, and as a Senior Developer you play a crucial role on the team, where you must juggle many moving parts – and have strong insight into both software development and property administration,” says your future manager, Head of Development Jesper Lund Klaris.

You will also have the opportunity to take on management responsibility as part of the role.
You will act as the link between the development team and Product Management, handling the daily prioritization of development tasks in the team and ensuring, together with the team, that we continuously deliver quality to our customers.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain features in EG Bolig with high code quality.
• Collaborate closely with the Product owner and teammates on backlog refinement and technical design.
• Contribute to technical discussions.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily, review, retrospective) if you step into the Scrum
  Master role.
• Support continuous improvement of team processes, collaboration, and delivery flow.
• Contribute to alignment and knowledge sharing across teams when needed.

Your Profile: Industry experience or strong Product Owner background
The ideal candidate has solid experience as a software developer — ideally with knowledge of housing administration or enterprise solutions, but this is not a requirement.

Ideally, you bring:

• Strong experience in modern software development practices
• Experience in C# and/or Angualar is an advantage
• Good understanding of software quality, testing, and scalable architectures
• Experience with agile development
• An interest in (or experience with) facilitating Scrum processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with focus on customer value

You do not need to be an experienced Scrum Master — the important part is that you are motivated to take responsibility for team flow and work processes alongside your development role.
