Your new role
This role will be a key resource in the Global Value & Patient Access team. It is a great chance to work alongside dedicated colleagues who support the development of innovative treatments that improve the lives of people living with brain diseases. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the market access & pricing strategy and initiatives for one of our phase III assets, Bexicaserin, in development for the treatment of developmental and epileptic encephalopathies. This asset will be transformative for Lundbeck, enabling our transformation journey to focused innovator and supporting our ambition to create a neuro-rare franchise. The role requires the ability to communicate strategically, demonstrate enterprise leadership and embrace a mindset of asset over function.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership & Patient Access Strategy Development
- Accountability to define and continuously refine bexicaserin market access & pricing strategy, ensuring optimized positioning and a compelling business case.
- Supporting the development and implementation of Early Access Program Strategy to generate additional evidence.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure development of additional evidence to complement clinical trial data to reflect payers needs and support differentiation.
- Prepare for Lundbeck´s first Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) to secure successful submission and organizational readiness.
- Lead development of compelling, evidence-based payer value propositions to support successful HTA outcomes and optimal market access.
- Develop the global pricing and contracting strategy and help prepare key affiliates for negotiations with relevant health authorities.
- As a core GPT (Global Product Team) member, ensure alignment on strategic market access objectives & tactics and actively contribute to supporting overall asset decisions. You will lead sub-teams and task forces composed of cross-functional and affiliate colleagues.
- Support strategic discussions with senior leadership, in collaboration with relevant functions, to ensure optimal decision making for bexicaserin.

Global Value & Patient Access is part of Corporate, Portfolio and Product Strategy, which is a key function to bridge R&D and Commercial Operations.

You will report to the Senior Director and Head of Global Value & Patient Access, Neuro rare.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
Professional:
- Expert strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to navigate complexity.
- Well-versed in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior leadership and confidently facilitate executive decision-making.
- Experience in strategic scenario planning and integrating cross-functional perspectives into enterprise strategy.
- Ability to synthesize internal and external insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Able to work independently, take accountability and act with a high degree of ownership.
- You are curious and agile to learn.
- You are eager to make a difference for patients and the business.
Education:
- Advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Pipeline and launch market access experience at Global Level, including US, EU, Japan and China is a must.
- Pricing experience.
- Experience with rare diseases is a clear advantage.
- Experienced in driving strategic initiatives in a global, cross-functional environment.
