Technical Tender Engineer

At Aasted, we are seeking a Technical Tender Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team and strengthen our tender process. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically curious and ambitious engineer who wants to gain deep insight into how Aasted’s machinery and systems are configured into complete production lines for chocolate, confectionery and bakery manufacturers around the world.
About the Role
In this position, you will take ownership of the tender process from start to finish. You will work at the intersection between technology and business – combining your technical understanding with a commercial mindset. You will be involved in reviewing complex tender specifications, assessing performance guarantees, and ensuring that Aasted offers what the customer expects. You will also participate in customer meetings and negotiations, where your ability to understand and communicate technical details will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the entire tender process, ensuring deadlines and quality requirements are met.
- Analyse customer specifications and performance guarantees to ensure feasibility and compliance.
- Collaborate across departments to gather and verify information, ensuring technically sound responses.
- Develop a solid understanding of Aasted’s machinery, systems, and performance parameters to independently answer technical questions.
- Contribute to risk assessment and provide recommendations based on technical insight.
Your Profile and Qualifications
- Relevant technical background, such as Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer (Maskinmester) or similar technical background.
- Curious and proactive – eager to learn and develop deep technical understanding of Aasted’s solutions.
- Strong interest in mechanical design, electrical systems, and automation.
- Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple complex documents.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken - and it is an advantage if you also speak and write Danish, as this is our company language.
